About Me

Music has been a lifelong passion of mine, sparked at an early age by my parents’ rock ’n’ roll records. I first learned guitar while at school before later taking up bass, developing a love for performing and discovering music across a wide range of styles and eras.

Although family life and work took centre stage for a number of years, I was fortunate to return to music and rediscover the joy of performing live. Over the years, I’ve drawn inspiration from many artists and bands — from Chuck Berry, Elvis and Johnny Cash, through classic British favourites such as The Kinks and Small Faces through to Britpop bands and 21st Century artists. I also have a real love for great pop music, which is why artists like ABBA, A-Ha and Katy Perry often make an appearance in my set list.

Having spent many years playing and singing in local bands, I’m now performing as a solo artist, covering a varied selection of hits from the 1950s through to the 2000s — a repertoire that reflects my broad musical influences and enduring passion for live music
